Košice City Properties Rented Below Market Value Due to Outdated Contracts, Official Finds
Košice has been renting municipal properties below market prices for years without adjusting for inflation, according to a review by the city's financial controller. The eastern Slovak city's rental contracts contain numerous irregularities and have become severely outdated, with some properties falling into disrepair. The controller has called for immediate corrections to address the financial losses and property deterioration affecting the municipality's real estate portfolio.
