Skalica, Žiar nad Hronom and Humenné Advance to Slovak Hockey League Semifinals

Skalica secured their place in the Slovak Hockey League semifinals after completing a sweep of Topoľčany in the quarterfinals. The team that finished first in the regular season won their third consecutive game against Topoľčany on Thursday, defeating them 4-1 on the road to advance in the minimum possible time. Žiar nad Hronom and Humenné also advanced to join Skalica in the semifinal round of Slovakia's second-tier professional hockey league.
