Firefighters Rescue Trapped Driver After Car-Truck Collision in Northern Slovakia

Emergency crews responded to a serious traffic accident on Route I/11 near Kysucké Nové Mesto in northern Slovakia shortly after 8 AM. Firefighters worked to extract a trapped driver from a severely damaged passenger car following a collision with a truck. The accident occurred on one of the region's main transportation corridors connecting northern Slovakia with the Czech border.
