Bratislava Approves Hypermarket at Nivy Station Despite Official Opposition

Share:

Bratislava city authorities have approved the construction of a hypermarket at the Nivy transport station, despite opposition from local officials. Mayor Matúš Vallo and regional governor Juraj Droba reportedly lacked the legal authority to block the developer's plans for the commercial project at one of the capital's key transportation hubs. The Nivy station serves as a major bus terminal and transport interchange in central Bratislava, connecting the city center with regional and international destinations.
