Rožňava Municipal Police Appoints New Chief After More Than a Decade

The municipal police force in Rožňava, a city in eastern Slovakia, has appointed a new chief after more than ten years under previous leadership. The police force currently consists of fourteen officers. Municipal police in Slovakia handle local law enforcement duties including traffic violations, public order, and minor offenses within city limits, operating separately from the national police force.
