Head-on collision kills 84-year-old man riding electric tricycle in western Slovakia

An 84-year-old man died in a head-on collision on Saturday when a car veered into oncoming traffic and struck his electric tricycle on highway II/501 in the Senica district of western Slovakia. Police said the fatal accident occurred when the car driver attempted to overtake another vehicle and entered the opposing lane, where he collided directly with the elderly man's tricycle.
