Slovakia's highway authority has confirmed a significant delay in completing the second phase of the northern bypass around Prešov, the country's third-largest city in eastern Slovakia. The project, which was originally scheduled for earlier completion, will now be delivered two years behind the initial timeline. The Hubová-Ivachnová section of the bypass is expected to be completed during summer. The northern bypass is a crucial infrastructure project designed to redirect traffic around Prešov's city center, reducing congestion in the urban core and improving traffic flow through the region.
