
Rescuers abandon hope of finding survivors after chemical tank implosion in Washington

Rescue teams have abandoned hope of finding survivors following the implosion of a chemical tank at a paper and pulp processing facility in Washington state. Two deaths have been confirmed, while nine people remain missing after the industrial accident at a Nippon Dynawave Packaging plant. The facility produces materials used to manufacture tissues, cups, plates, cardboard containers and other consumer products.
