Lightning strikes Wizz Air flight between Bratislava and Košice

A Wizz Air aircraft operating a domestic flight from Bratislava to Košice was struck by lightning during its journey. The airline confirmed the incident and said technicians subsequently inspected the aircraft following the lightning strike. Wizz Air operates one of the few regular domestic routes within Slovakia, connecting the capital Bratislava with Košice, the country's second-largest city located in the eastern region.
