The movie, titled "Michael," appears from its trailer to deliberately avoid controversial episodes from Jackson's later years. However, the reality behind the film's content is more complex. The original three-and-a-half-hour cut included an entire third section that dealt with serious allegations of child abuse against the singer. Filmmakers were ultimately forced to remove this portion and focus solely on other aspects of Jackson's story, avoiding the criminal allegations that overshadowed his final years.
