EU-funded Million-Euro School Project Misses Completion Deadline, Lacks Even Basic Roof

A school construction project funded by European Union grants worth millions of euros has failed to meet its April completion deadline, with the building remaining unfinished and lacking even a roof. The project was scheduled to receive final approval and occupancy permits by the end of April, but construction delays have left the facility far from completion. Slovakia receives significant EU funding through various structural funds for infrastructure projects including educational facilities. Interior Minister Drucker stated that authorities would provide assistance to address the construction delays.
