Gauff defeats Cirstea to reach WTA 1000 Rome final

American tennis player Coco Gauff defeated Romanian Sorana Cirstea to advance to the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome. Gauff will face the winner of the semifinal match between fourth-seeded Iga Swiatek of Poland and seventh-seeded Elina Svitolina of Ukraine in the championship match.
