Košice Region Honors 12 Individuals and Two Organizations with Annual Awards

The Košice Self-Governing Region (KSK) presented its annual awards to 12 individuals and two organizations during a ceremonial event at the National Theatre in Košice on Thursday. The regional government's recognition honors outstanding contributions and achievements in eastern Slovakia during 2025. The awards ceremony represents one of the highest forms of regional recognition in Slovakia's second-largest administrative region, which encompasses the eastern part of the country including the city of Košice and surrounding areas.
