Spišská Belá eliminates visual pollution by moving power lines underground

The town of Spišská Belá in eastern Slovakia is removing visual pollution caused by electrical poles by relocating power lines underground. The infrastructure project aims to improve the aesthetic appearance of the municipality by eliminating overhead electrical cables and their supporting structures. Spišská Belá, located in the Poprad district near the High Tatras mountains, joins other Slovak municipalities working to reduce visual clutter in urban areas through underground utility installation.
