Police stopped a concrete mixer truck weighing 30.9 tons that was driving across the SNP Bridge in Bratislava despite weight restrictions that prohibit the crossing. The bridge has a strict ban on vehicles or vehicle combinations whose total weight, including cargo, driver and passengers, exceeds 21 tons. The concrete mixer was nearly 10 tons over the legal limit when it crossed the strategic Danube River bridge connecting the city center with the Petržalka district.
