Michalovce to Begin Tree Removal in Hrádok Forest Park Due to Poor Health

The eastern Slovak city of Michalovce will begin removing trees in Hrádok forest park due to the deteriorating health condition of the vegetation. The tree removal operation, known as sanitation cutting, is necessary to address safety concerns and maintain the park's ecological balance. Michalovce, located in the Košice region near the Ukrainian border, manages several green spaces including the popular Hrádok forest park which serves as a recreational area for residents.
