Slovak President Peter Pellegrini highlighted the importance of human solidarity in battling illness during a ceremonial gala evening organized by the League Against Cancer. The event marked the 30th anniversary of Daffodil Day, an annual fundraising campaign for cancer research and patient support, over which the president had accepted patronage. The League Against Cancer is Slovakia's leading non-governmental organization dedicated to cancer prevention, early detection, and support for patients and their families.
