Explosion and Fire Strike Building in Svidník, One Person Hospitalized

An explosion followed by a fire occurred in Svidník, a town in eastern Slovakia near the Polish border. The blast was powerful enough to blow off the roof of the affected building. Emergency responders transported one injured person to hospital for treatment. Firefighters are currently working to contain the blaze at the scene.
