Slovak Football Association President Faces Disciplinary Proceedings
Share:
Ján Kováčik, president of the Slovak Football Association (SFZ), is facing disciplinary proceedings initiated by the association's disciplinary committee. The SFZ is the governing body for football in Slovakia, overseeing the country's professional leagues and national teams. In a separate decision, the disciplinary committee also imposed a 5,000 euro fine on FC Spartak Trnava, one of Slovakia's top-tier football clubs. The committee did not immediately specify the reasons for either the disciplinary action against Kováčik or the financial penalty against the Trnava club.
