Košice Tram Line Modernization Project Reaches Halfway Point, Set to Complete in August

The modernization of the tram line serving the Nad Jazerom residential district in Košice has passed its halfway mark and remains on schedule for completion by the end of August. The project, known locally as MET (Modernizácia električkovej trate), is proceeding according to plan with construction work expected to finish at the transition between July and August. Nad Jazerom is a major residential area in Slovakia's second-largest city, and the tram line modernization represents a significant infrastructure upgrade for the eastern Slovak metropolis. The project aims to improve public transportation connectivity for residents of this densely populated district.
