Environmental organizations have raised concerns about attacks on nature conservationists working in Slovakia. In a separate development, authorities successfully guided Timmy, a rare Danube sturgeon, into the cargo hold of a specialized boat as part of ongoing conservation efforts. Meanwhile, environmental initiatives across the country continue with the planting of 460 new trees along Slovak rivers and the opening of a self-service forest café in Šaca near Košice. Environmental advocates also reminded citizens that empty detergent containers do not need to be washed before recycling, but should be properly sorted for waste management.
