Košice Park Revitalization and Fountain Construction Proceeds on Schedule

Construction work on a new fountain and park revitalization project on Bašťovanského Street in Košice is proceeding according to plan, with preparatory work beginning in February and main construction starting in April. The project is being carried out by USD Lučenec, a company that won the contract with a bid of 212,181 euros including VAT. The investment aims to improve public space and environmental quality in the Dargovských hrdinov district, Slovakia's second-largest city. The project is primarily funded through European Union funds, with the city of Košice contributing an 8 percent co-financing share.
