Bear enters park grounds at historic castle, prompting emergency response

A bear appeared in the park surrounding Betliar Castle in eastern Slovakia, forcing authorities to restrict public access to the area. Despite official warnings and entry bans, some visitors continued to ignore safety restrictions and entered the park grounds while the animal was present, according to the head of the emergency response team. The bear has since been driven away from the castle grounds by wildlife management specialists.
