Russian Night Attacks Damage WHO Offices in Kyiv

Russian overnight attacks damaged World Health Organization offices in Kyiv, according to the WHO director. The strikes also targeted facilities of the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR), marking the first direct attack on UNHCR premises since Russia's invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022. UNHCR representative in Ukraine Bernadette Castel-Hollingworth confirmed that this was the first time the organization's facilities had been directly hit during the war. The attacks represent an escalation in targeting of international humanitarian organizations operating in the Ukrainian capital.
