Piacenza wins CEV Cup volleyball championship

Italian volleyball club Piacenza claimed the CEV Cup title after defeating German team SVG Lüneburg in the two-leg final. Following their 3-0 set victory away in Lüneburg in the first leg, Piacenza completed their triumph with another 3-0 set win at home. The CEV Cup is European volleyball's second-tier club competition, ranking below the Champions League in prestige.
