Slovak President Peter Pellegrini promoted four military officers to general ranks in the country's Armed Forces. Miroslav Lorinc was elevated to the rank of general, while Marek Banas received promotion to major general. Two additional officers, Pavel Kožlej and Richard Király, were appointed as brigadier generals and received their appointment decrees directly from the president. The promotions represent routine advancement within Slovakia's military hierarchy, with the president serving as the supreme commander of the armed forces responsible for such senior military appointments.
