Eastern Slovakia Region Awards €1.5 Million Contract for Road Reconstruction

The Košice Self-Governing Region has signed a contract worth €1.5 million to reconstruct the road connecting Kostoľany nad Hornádom and Sokoľ villages. The Regional Road Administration awarded the project to the Colas-Viakorp-Kostoľany nad Hornádom consortium following a public procurement process, with the contract valued at exactly €1,506,236. The road improvement project will enhance transportation infrastructure in the eastern Slovak region, connecting two rural communities in the area surrounding Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city and the economic center of the eastern part of the country.
