American ski racer Mikaela Shiffrin established a dominant lead after the first run of the World Cup slalom competition in Hafjell, Norway. The defending overall World Cup champion finished 1.10 seconds ahead of Switzerland's Wendy Holdener, putting her in prime position for victory heading into the second run.
