Slovak Scientist Receives Fulbright Scholarship to Study Gut Microbiome in California

Viktor Bielik, a Slovak researcher who has spent the past decade studying the gut microbiome, has received a Fulbright scholarship to continue his research at the University of California San Diego. Bielik will work with Professor Rob Knight, whose laboratory employs 146 academics dedicated to studying microbiomes across various environments, including the gut, skin, respiratory system, ocean, and soil.
