Vítkovice Eliminated from Hockey Playoffs Despite Kňažko Goal

Czech hockey club Vítkovice was eliminated from the playoffs after losing 2-1 to Karlovy Vary in Thursday's third preliminary round match. The North Moravian team fell 0-3 in the series despite a goal from Slovak forward Kňažko, while Lantoši also found the net during the game. The defeat ends Vítkovice's season and their hopes of advancing further in the Czech hockey league playoffs.
