Slovakia leads Kosovo 2-1 at halftime in Nations League playoff semifinal

Slovakia took a 2-1 lead over Kosovo at halftime in their Nations League promotion playoff semifinal at the sold-out National Football Stadium in Bratislava on Thursday. The home team opened the scoring in the 6th minute through Martin Valjent before Veldin Hodža equalized for Kosovo in the 21st minute. Slovakia then regained their advantage before the break. The winner of this two-leg semifinal will advance to face either Turkey or Hungary in the final for promotion to Nations League A, the competition's top tier.
