Tourist Falls Into Stream Below Babia Hora Peak, Rescued by Mountain Rescue Team

A tourist fell into a stream below Babia Hora, Slovakia's highest peak outside the High Tatras mountains, and required assistance from mountain rescue services. The man sustained injuries that prevented him from descending from the mountainous terrain on his own. Mountain rescuers responded to help the injured hiker safely return from the remote location. Babia Hora, standing at 1,725 meters, is located in the Orava region near the Polish border and is a popular hiking destination.
