Volunteers Clean Hornád River as It Continues to Battle Waste from Surrounding Villages

Dozens of volunteers participated in a cleanup effort along the Hornád River in eastern Slovakia. The river continues to struggle with waste pollution from surrounding villages, prompting community members to organize the environmental action. The Hornád is a major waterway in the Košice region that flows through several municipalities before joining the Bodrog River.
