Slovakia Strengthens Air Defense Information Sharing After Russian Drone Strike in Romania

Share:

Slovakia is tightening its airspace protection measures following a Russian drone strike in Romania. The Slovak Armed Forces are enhancing information exchange within the NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defense System (NATINAMDS), intensifying data sharing among alliance members. The move comes as part of broader regional security responses to Russian military activity that has spilled beyond Ukraine's borders. Romania, Slovakia's southern neighbor and fellow NATO member, has experienced several incidents of Russian drones crossing into its territory during the ongoing war in Ukraine, prompting increased vigilance across the region's air defense networks.
