World War II ammunition discovered during construction work in Prešov

Construction workers uncovered 45 pieces of World War II-era military ammunition on Palackého Street in Prešov, prompting an immediate response from explosive ordnance disposal specialists. A worker from the nearby town of Sabinov discovered the infantry ammunition while conducting excavation work on the site. A pyrotechnician was called to the scene to safely secure the dangerous find and remove it from the area.
