Construction scaffolding collapses in Prešov district after flooding damage

Construction scaffolding collapsed in Nižná Šebastová, a district of Prešov in eastern Slovakia, after severe weather complicated ongoing construction work. Turbulent floodwaters carried large amounts of fallen trees and debris under a bridge in the area, which subsequently damaged the temporary construction supports and caused them to collapse. The bridge itself sustained no damage in the incident.
