Foresters in Banská Bystrica Region Reopen Traditional Wood Floating Season

Forestry workers in the Banská Bystrica region have reopened their seasonal wood floating demonstrations at the Rakytovo water channel. The traditional timber transportation method has been presented to the public as a cultural demonstration since 2007. The practice showcases historical forestry techniques once commonly used to transport logs downstream through specially constructed water channels in Slovakia's mountainous regions.
