Košice Region Approves Road Renovation Project Worth up to 65 Million Euros

The Košice Region Assembly approved a road renovation project with a maximum budget of 65 million euros. The measure passed with 42 lawmakers voting in favor, one against, and eight abstentions. The assembly had previously endorsed the plan to renovate road sections in poor condition during its February meeting, and has now given final approval to proceed with the infrastructure improvements in Slovakia's second-largest region.
