The United States has dismissed Iranian assertions about reaching a framework agreement to end ongoing tensions, calling the alleged Iranian memorandum a complete fabrication. The White House criticized both Iranian and American media outlets for spreading unverified information and emphasized the need to rely on confirmed facts. Iran's state broadcaster IRIB had also claimed that Iran, in cooperation with Oman, should oversee shipping management in the Strait of Hormuz, a critical waterway for global oil transport.
