International Film Festival Art Film 2026 Announces Jury for Central and Eastern European Competition

The Art Film International Film Festival has announced the jury composition for its Central and Eastern European film competition at the upcoming 32nd edition. The festival will take place from June 19-25, 2026 in Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city and cultural hub of the eastern region. The international jury features three distinguished film industry professionals from different continents: Afghan director Siddiq Barmak, Kazakh film historian Gulnara Abikeyeva, and Polish-British film studies professor Ewa Hanna Mazierska. The Art Film Festival is one of Slovakia's most prominent cultural events, specializing in films from Central and Eastern Europe and providing a platform for regional cinema on the international stage.
