Burglar steals 4,500 euros and jewelry from apartment in Kežmarok

An unknown perpetrator broke into an apartment on Kuzmányho Street in Kežmarok during the morning hours and thoroughly searched the premises. The burglar made off with 4,500 euros in cash and jewelry before fleeing the scene. Police have launched an investigation into charges of violating the sanctity of the home and theft. Kežmarok is a town in northern Slovakia near the Polish border.
