Považská Bystrica to Distribute 12,000 Euros Through Participatory Budget

Považská Bystrica will allocate 12,000 euros through its participatory budget program, allowing residents to propose and vote on local projects. The participatory community budget was first introduced in the central Slovak city in 2019 under the project name "Mesto si ty!" (The City is You!). Despite being a new form of citizen participation for the municipality, the initiative has proven highly successful since its launch.
