Slovak judokas eliminated early at European Championships

Two Slovak judokas were eliminated in the early rounds of the under-100 kg category at the European Championships. Maťašej advanced to the second round before being knocked out, while his compatriot Peter Žilka was eliminated in the first round after losing to Hungary's Zsombor Veg by waza-ari, a near-ippon scoring technique in judo.
