Cattle attack kills 40-year-old herder in eastern Slovakia

A 40-year-old man died after being attacked by a cow while herding cattle in a pasture near the village of Gemer in eastern Slovakia. According to preliminary information, the man was grazing cattle when one of the cows inflicted fatal injuries, causing him to die at the scene. The incident occurred in the Gemer region, known for its rural agricultural activities. The fatal attack comes just over a week after a similar incident in neighboring Austria, where a woman was also killed by cattle, highlighting the ongoing risks faced by those working with livestock in Central European farming communities.
