Former Danish Queen Margrethe II has been hospitalized following a fall, marking her second hospital admission in less than two weeks. The 84-year-old former monarch will remain under medical observation and treatment for several days. The latest incident comes shortly after Margrethe II underwent angioplasty, a procedure to widen narrowed blood vessels, due to acute chest pain. Margrethe II abdicated the Danish throne in January 2024 after a 52-year reign, passing the crown to her son Frederik X.
