Police halt investigation into alleged break-in at mountain hut storage facility

Police have discontinued an investigation into an alleged break-in at the storage facility of Téry Hut, a mountain lodge in Slovakia's High Tatras mountains. The case began when the hut's tenant filed a criminal complaint against the head of Hikemates, a hiking organization, accusing him of breaking into the storage area. Leaders of a local tourist club have publicly supported the allegations against the Hikemates director. The police decision to halt the investigation effectively closes the matter without charges being filed.
