Jazz Legend Sonny Rollins Dies, Cannes Film Festival Awards Golden Palm

Jazz saxophone legend Sonny Rollins has died, ending a prolific career that began in the late 1940s. Rollins collaborated with some of jazz's greatest figures including Miles Davis, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, and John Coltrane throughout his decades-long career. As a bandleader, he released more than 60 albums, establishing himself as one of the most influential tenor saxophonists in jazz history.
