Lightning Strike Forces Bratislava-Košice Flight to Return to Capital

A Wizz Air flight traveling from Bratislava to Košice was forced to return to the Slovak capital after being struck by lightning during the journey. The airline provided passengers with an alternative aircraft to complete their trip to eastern Slovakia's largest city after the incident. The flight was operating on Slovakia's busiest domestic route, connecting the capital with the country's second-largest city located approximately 400 kilometers to the east.
