
Košice Region Approves €5.3 Million in EU Funding for 15 Development Projects

The Partnership Council of Košice Region approved a new package of European Union investments totaling €5.3 million for 15 projects on Friday. The funding, part of the current EU programming period from 2021-2027, will support initiatives to modernize schools, improve road safety, and enhance environmental sustainability in municipalities across the region. The Košice Self-Governing Region, which administers Slovakia's easternmost region and second-largest city, announced the funding decisions as part of ongoing efforts to develop local infrastructure and services using EU structural funds.
