Bratislava's Petržalka District Plans Major Apartment Building Renovation
Share:
A residential building in Petržalka, Bratislava's largest district, is set to undergo comprehensive renovation including exterior improvements. The district has estimated total procurement costs at more than 1.75 million euros for the project. Financing will come primarily through a loan from the State Housing Development Fund (ŠFRB), which will cover over 1.66 million euros of the total cost. Petržalka, built during the communist era as a massive housing estate, contains hundreds of prefabricated apartment blocks that require ongoing maintenance and modernization to meet current energy efficiency and aesthetic standards.
